python-apscheduler software package provides In-process task scheduler with Cron-like capabilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-apscheduler
python-apscheduler is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-apscheduler package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-apscheduler *
You will get with python-apscheduler package name, version, architecture and description in a table
